About Alice
I am passionate about performing and teaching music.
I believe everybody has an inner musician waiting to be discovered. Whether you want to learn for well-being, enjoyment, or to work your way through exam grades, I will adapt my teaching to suit you. We will work to your goals at your pace.
I studied flute performance at both the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. I graduated with a First Class Honours in 2012.

Music is for everyone and above all, should be fun!
I offer the first lesson free of charge, you will decide if we work well together. I offer different lesson lengths, starting at £16 for 30 minutes.
I teach students of all standards and ages. If you want to progress through grades, I have many years experience helping students succeed with ABRSM and Trinity exams. I understand this approach isn’t for everyone. I will work with you to set and achieve your goals at your pace, in any musical style.
I offer flute and saxophone lessons from beginner to Grade 8, Clarinet to Grade 5 and beginner recorder. I also offer music theory tuition, if you need your ABRSM Grade 5 Theory.
I teach in Eaglescliffe, easily accessible from Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Thornaby and Stockton.

Parents or carers are welcome to sit in during lessons.
I am an active member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
I have a First Aid Qualification.
